Olympics

I was cut from the woman’s hockey team two weeks before the winter Olympics were to start. Three days before the team was scheduled to leave, someone got injured and I was called up to join the team. Prior to us leaving, I received the 11:59 necklace. I played with that necklace in my pocket for the entire series. We ended up winning the gold medal at the games. It was such a good reminder to never give up.
